Ahhh Bank Holiday Monday!! But whats this...no Bond movie. In a fit of desperation I grab a Bond tape out of my collection and bung it in my machine. At last bank holiday monday, watching bond and everythings right with the world. Then I realise its A VIEW TO A KILL. Don't get me wrong I like A VIEW TO A KILL but its a film that, for me, holds one of lifes little mysteries....

....CHRISTOPHER WALKEN....

....does anyone know why his name in the credit sequence has a box around it. It's the same on the sleeve as well. I have always wondered. I mean it's obviously not his first film by a long shot. And I've never seen a box around anyone elses name in a credit sequence.

Anyone got any ideas?

Got me. Maybe it's so he wouldn't strangle the other names in the credits with their own lower intestines for making him appear in such a piece of shit movie with a fat eyebrow-wiggler. Who can say?

Is it perhaps because they wanted to play up his being in the film ?
IIRC, Kim Basinger's name had a box round it on the poster for the 1989 Bat-film, though it was 'after' the film's title in the small print at the foot of the poster, if you see what I mean. I kind of assumed this was a way of giving the name a bit more emphasis without putting it above the title, if that makes any sense...
I've got to say that I really don't think AVTAK is much cop; there are some moments, but I found the background to the Zorin character a bit strange; wasn't he said to have been the result of some dodgy WWII experiments in a prison camp or something ? Sounds more like cause for concern or pity than anything else to me...
