Definitely... I watched it last week, hadn't seen it in about two years, and I literally fell on the floor laughing. The entire scene with the priest - I couldn't stand for fifteen minutes.

And he's directing Lord of the Rings now...

Slightly off-topic, but about another Jackson film - did anyone else think those recent shots of Princess Margaret at the Queen Mum's birthday made her look like the alien in Bad Taste?

In America, known as Dead Alive, because Brain Dead is another, brilliant movie, starring Bill Pullman, Bill Paxton and Bud Cort.

Peter Jackson has a pretty good track record tho, don't he?

Bad Taste / Brain Dead = fantastic lo-fi cult shit.

Meet the Feebles / Heavenly Creatures = untouchable. Both classics in their own way.

"The Frighteners" was even pretty good for a first flirtation with Hollywood. It's got it's moments.

I am sooooo looking forward to the 'Rings. Let's just hope Jackson can transmute crypto-fascist fantasy pap into cinematic gold

There's spoilers, but this is a great review page for Meet The Feebles if anyone's not seen it. It's awesome. Utterly, utterly awesome.

Pictures and sounds, too...

(There's one for Bad Taste, also.)
