Sorry I know this shouldn't really go here but I just wanted people to see it. Is anyone from here going to see Iron Maiden tonight at Brixton Academy, if so does anyone want to meet up for a beer?

If it helps, you're not the only Maiden fan in the house.

I've seen them many a time and they've always given value for money.

Next time though, you'll want to post to the Gathering maybe a week or so in advance of the gig to give your local Barbelithers a chance to respond.

Yeah I did mention it a little while back but wasn't sure if anyone bought tickets, should be good though - I've wanted to see them since I was about 13

Since I live in Brixton and not too far away from The Academy, I would normally have said let's hook up for a drink. But alas, alack, I am being taken to the far more salubrious 12 Bar Club this fair evening for an evening of chicks singing the blues. Mmmmm Mmmmm!

Mind you I've had to wade through the throngs of Maiden fans on my way home over the past two nights and they have all seemed pretty up for a good night, so you should have a good one.

Maybe next time.

I am indeed a happy bear today, Maiden were excellent, well what I remember..I liked Brixton Academy never beent here before...

I had a dream last night I was fighting someone with a sword, and I had a gun and shot someone in the ass and they fell into a pool of acid..I also had a dream someone had a set of drumsticks that could be extended to suit your needs, do you think they would sell?

And best of all we've found a new flat already !! looks nicer than the one we're in now and its cheaper ! woooo
