I had been researching the Challengers of the Unknown a while back, and just about every site I visited mentioned Cheeks, but the link was always dead. Then I noticed a few sites sadly announcing that Cheeks was no more.

Glad to see him back!

Actually....

Cheeks is technically not back. Someone by the name of The Time Trust, a Cheeks fan, is collecting and compiling Cheeks' old web pages for posterity. I think Cheeks is continuing his hiatus - some kind of personal issues. Another gentelman has posted some of Cheeks' pages but as text only. For further information, the link below will take you to the message board for Fanzing.com, a DC comics fanzine, wherein some details are discussed regarding the availabillity of Cheeks' beautiful maladies.

Having Cheeks' stuff back online in any form at all is truly a wonderful thing.

(for those folks who have absolutely no idea what this is about, "Cheeks the Toy Wonder" was/is a guy who did a truly hilarious site with hundreds of... overviews, i guess you'd call them, of various comics, characters, themes in comics, etc.- cannot be adequately described, only experienced).

Cheeks has been sighted. He's busy planning a wedding, apparently. Bop on over to the aforementioned Fanzing forum - go to Fanzing.com, click on forum and then enter the general forum. Sounds like the guy is happy and hoping to acerbate some more comics.
