I just picked up the last two issues of Ultimate Marvel Team-up (Spiderman and Dr. Strange) and I've got to say I recommend them. It's not Bendis's best writing, but at least it's a two issue, self-contained story. And the art is incredible. It really does look like Ted McKeever drawing inspiration from the artwork of Sam Kieth's best days on the Maxx, and it's really lovely.
I also kind of like the idea for Bendis's new Dr. Strange. No spoilers, but it's got potential for a solo series. |
