I have "All Over the World & Other Stories" and am trying to get a copy of "Fourth Man" (BTW, is that out in softcover yet?). Anyone know if there are plans to release further issues in trade pb? Thanks.

The entire series will eventually be collected: that was one of the stipulations of Ellis' contract. First, though, they have to come out in pamphlet form.

Health problems and scheduling conflicts have put PLANETARY onto a long publishing hiatus: the most recent newsstand issue of PLANETARY was #15; that was about eight months ago. Most recent scuttlebutt at Ellis' Delphi forum is that we shouldn't expect #16 until September at earliest.

There will, however, be a PLANETARY/JLA one-shot out this Summer, drawn by Jerry Ordway.

The series will comprise four volumes of six issues each. Book Two, THE FOURTH MAN, was released in paperback a couple of months ago. But really, get the hardcovers if you can afford/find them: they truly are things of beauty and joys forever--gorgeous design and terrific production values.

That's Entertainment in Worcester has the TPB's in stock last time I checked. And they can ship to you.

They are on Park Ave, just south of Elm Park

Their Phone Number is: 1-(508)-755-4207

And so I guess the one-shot Authority/Planetary prestige format thing will be collected somehow too ? Seems fair - Jiminez art and all that...

Interesting that reprinting it was a stipulation of Ellis' contract (rather echoes Alan Moore's plans for Halo Jones, IIRC). He seems very savvy as a businessman, I have to say...

And apparently Ellis has finally finished the script for ministery of space issue 3... and Weston has agreed to fit 3 pages a month into his filth filled schedule...

Given that I only read it in TPB form, can I just ask : has Transmetropolitan been affected by Warren’s ill-health at all ? It seems to be on the racks fairly regularly, whereas I know Planetary’s been AWOL for a while…

On a slightly different note, I just saw this in a local game/comics shop...

Quote:

Adventure! Tales of the Aeon Society RPG

"In 1922, a new era begins. An era of excitement and imagination. An era when men are forthright and women are courageous. An era of globe-hopping exploration and mad science. An era in which excitement awaits in the lofty skyscraper-penthouses of New York City and the squalid slums of Hong Kong, in the frigid wastes of Antarctica and the sweltering jungles of the Congo. It is the era of Adventure!

Adventure is a game of pulp fiction in which you are an inspired hero battling dastardly villains and bizarre monsters! It has rich source material on early 20th-century society around the world and complete rules for playing a daredevil in this exciting age, including special powers and details on building amazing inventions.

Written by Warren Ellis, White Wolf Staff."

Transmet is appearing regularly, perhaps a sign of what's really important to the Warren.
September for Planetary? Fuck.

sea monkey - if you have trouble finding it, drop me a line. I have it in my store right now, but I'm sure it would be far cheaper to get it wherever you are.

Zoom.
