Is any one else Haven?
The writing isn't doing anything for me, but Ariel Olivetti's art always gives me a hard-on. X-man was great, the secret chapter of The Doctor + The AUTHORITY that nobody ever bought. Seemed like the only quality that came out of Counter-X.
I think the problem is that Haven's layout sucks- but the premise ain't bad, olivetti's character design is superb (there's an comic artist with a good feel for fashion, albeit plate-mail/denim fashion)- + if I read a science hero book, I prefer that they get their asses kicked, like the JLA do in #1. |
