yeah, ok, marvel boy, xmen and co have been helping me out since Mister Six and his crazy pals (yes, that's right: King Mob,Ragged Robin, Jack, Fanny and crazy ole Tom O'Bedlam) swanked off into the *******, but it's just not the same.

I want a regular title (creator owned off course!), consistent art (bonus-bonus- bonus), a gallus title (Filth - nice) and some hardcore grunt (sic) morrison mindshite.

The art posted in the other thread has puked my cock all chunky and I predict that the good ship Barbelith will sail a steady course back into the heart of gut wrenching mind shite-ing nick waddaming iao adaning

I have to say, I share some of your sentiments - I've been enjoying NXM, but seeing that MAKING SURE THEY'RE ASLEEP WHILE WE OPERATE teaser just makes you realise that this is going to be much, much cooler (in every sense). You could put that image on a t-shirt and people would want to shake your hand.

You know, every time I show mainstream comics to people who don't normally read them, they get extremely angry about the interior ads, and how distracting they are, not to mention crass and ugly. I wonder if Marvel and DC would ever consider not breaking up the story with ads...I think it would be a good step towards appealing to a larger audience.

Must say: I really deeply love that "Making sure they're asleep while we operate" slogan SOOOOOOO much. I wish I was in the city, I'd be writing it on every wall... I am very psyched about this...at first I was just kinda 'ah, okay, more Grant, that's cool' but now that I know that it doesn't involve secret agents or occult stuff (ie, is not a retread of The Invisibles), I am very interested.

Also, it looks like Chris Weston has improved as an artist...

I'm excited about The Filth but I've got to say, I've pretty much lost all faith in Vertigo. I almost wish it was being publised by Marvel or Image. At least Image would cough up good paper and production. They seem to let Bendis do whatever he wants.
