Hm. Barry Windsor-Smith. nice.

Apparently it's dealing with religious issues... but in a very 'religion is naturally opposed to mutants' which doesn't make sense to me, I would think a lot of Christians etc may think of mutants as having god-given gifts, even as miracle workers/messiahs...

I'm wondering who is writing this.

I have learnt that if a comic deals with religion/spirituality/the soul then ther'e a pretty good chance that J.M. Dimatteis is involved. But i'd imagine that Marvel would be going for someone hip at the moment, so i don't know.

Hmmm the last time marvel acted all cagey and mysterios about a creator on an x-title the writer in question was Howard Mackie and the result was the brotherhood.

I am not expecting great things.

So is "X" definitely Howard Mackie then? What a waste of time that all was....

Another X book! Yay!

Maybe they'll let Knowledge write this one.

I'd make it X-Rated!

Then you'd really see Jean Grey covered in sperm.

Just bought the first issue of this yesterday on a whim. It's really pretty all right. Jeff Jenson is the guy who wrote it. He's some writer at Entertainment Weekly. I'm not sure what should be inferred from that, but it really wasn't too bad of a story. It's about a Mutant Civil Rights branch of the FBI and, as such, is really only kind of fringe X-Universe. I'll reserve final judgement until the whole mini is through. The art's really nice, too, BTW.

Yup, I quite enjoyed this one. Another "real-life" look at the Marvel U, but a pretty effective one. I'm with Arthur, gotta see where it's going before I say yea or nay.

Zoom.

This is going to sound really stupid, but what was wrong with that guy's arm?

Just picked this up. Pacing of the first issue seemed really fast. Would have liked it if they went a bit slower. But, still very pleased.
