While browsing through this weeks copy of the LA Weekly I noticed a half decent interview with Alan Moore about magic and stuff like that. For those who can't get the printed version its available online here.

Article written by none other than Jay Babcock, who has the dubious distinction of being both godfather and midwife of this very website,barbelith.com--being as he was the creator of the original Barbelith Inisibles annotations website, which he handed over to Tom Coates in the fullness of time...

In addition to being the brother of Josh "Domino" Babcock, songwriter/visionary behind the Shimmer Kids Underpop Association, and the guy who informed me of this place's existence...

The Babcocks of California are a great bunch.

Heh. Small world time: I worked on a couple of web projects with Mike Evans of the Shimmer Kids when they still had their 'Mission Control' web company going.

His roommate Jason and I worked at the same place for awhile also.

Do they frequent here?

Josh is registered here, but doesn't post. Both of them are still posting on the board where I used to be, in spite of the fact that it truly has become a horrible internet wasteland...
