Just read over on the Alan Moore site that his and Eddie Cambells next project is going to be a biography of Austin Osman Spare...

Whey Hey!!! My favourite hairy living comic guy writing on my favourite dead magician guy...can't get any better!!!

For those who don't know about Spare...He was a contemporary of Crowley...a fabulous artist and magician who through books such as 'The Book of Pleasure', 'The Focus of Life' and 'The Anathema of Zos' was pretty much the starting point of Chaos Magick...

A wonderful artist (Better than Miller but not as good as Stewart) his automatic drawings are amazing...

I've just come in my socks over this one!!

Oh...and Moores' new novel is out soon...It's about the first railway link between Northampton and Cardiff...

Never been to Northampton but i've been to Cardiff...er

Sounds interesting. I’d never heard of Spare until a recent issue of the Fortean Times profiled him, and then he popped up in that issue of Promethea, but I’d certainly be interested to learn more.

Annotated, when you say ‘the Alan Moore Site’, which one’s that ? Can you supply a link or something like that ? Thanks.

Y'know, this isn't exactly news...he's been going on about this for at least a year.

Are there any fresh developments that I've missed out on?

Proberly just me being out of date...

Got the info from this site

Some of Spare writing can be pretty hard going but it's worth checking out if your interested in magick and i think some of his art is amazing

'a grammer' is a great name for a book
