I know there are a lot of Buffy freaks around here but I don't remember seeing a thread about Joss Whedon's Fray. Is anyone else reading this? I started buying it because my girlfriend and her sister both love the Buffy & Angel shows and it seemed to be a good way to get them to read comics. My girlfriend read the first issue and is now waiting for the series to finish before she reads any more. Her sister on the other hand: "Did the new Fray come out yet? Are you sure?" every time I see her (I took her to a couple of shops but she just stood there stunned, looking at the rows and rows of new comics, wondering how in the hell she was supposed to tell if anything appealed to her or not).

Anyway, I've been reading it and think its quite good.

no kidding!

I'm really enjoying Fray. I wish it would come out on a more regular basis, but it's always worth the wait. The subtle delvings into both past and future history of the Slayers is great. It adds so much to the TV shows, if only that it's proof that one day Buffy will bite it (pardon the pun), and there will be another.

Me. I pretend its for large daughter, but I always read it.

I'm a bit peeved at the art work, they fucked up the flashback scene last month, and the overstyle is wandering a bit towards manga in some places.

but I wish it was longer than 8, and I'm sure it would settle down.
