The following is part of a plot synopsis for the upcoming Blade sequel:

Several years ago, a stray laser beam beheaded Dracula in a freak laboratory accident. Fortunately for him, however, scientists were able to save his augmented head, though his body lost all basic mobility. To remedy this situation, bio-mechanical legs drawn from spider DNA and organic wings taken from a large vampire bat were installed into Dracula's head.

Now, when Dracula thirsts, his head detaches itself and alternately utilizes fight and wall-crawling to stalk potential victims. His enhancements, as unattractive as they may be, are terribly effective. Any of Dracula's victims who by some miracle happen to survive his appetites are rendered the most pathetic of the undead. His shambling children prey upon the weak and helpless, preferring to raid nursing homes and hospitals for immobile quarry

Erm...

Where did you get this info from?

Blade 2: Blood Hunt has finished shooting and is in post-production, for a 2002 release. It has nothing to do with Dracula - the story is about Blade forming an uneasy alliance with a bunch of vampires to fight a bunch of...supervampires, I guess, called Reapers.

I personally think the Dracula synopsis much better...

Yes. I think it is a wonderful idea. And I think we should force Nick to write it.

Isn't it a slightly shitty paraphrasing of the pennangalan (sp?) vampire myth?

Sounds more like a Dr Terrible plot.

Yeah, that was my first thought. Indonesian/Malaysian fuckers, their detached heads trail guts and innards after them as they fly into windows and feed on bad children. Weirdest critters in the D&D Fiend Folio, if I recall.
