thanks for the tip...I'm not really in the market for the original art, though.
I walked into a shop earlier today, and looked around and found Doom Patrol 63, the last issue of Grant's run - quite possibly my single favorite issue of a comic ever - for cover price. I'd been looking all over for a replacement copy for five years since I loaned it out to never see it again, and I find it on the day I put in a bid for the whole damn run.
nice, I guess.
I really want that full run...there's a few issues early on that I still haven't read yet, and it'd be nice to just have it all in one stack in a row on my bookshelf... those comics mean a LOT to me, and we a big part of my adolescence. remember, I was reading all of this when it first came out when I was 12-13 years old. huuuuuge impact, let me tell ya... |
