Now I KNOW that we have had this conversation before, but now I'm asking you to have it over on the celeb network.

The news is that Jennifer Aniston is really keen to play Wonder Woman if a new film was to be made. And I was wondering if anyone would be prepared to go and play and post some other celebrity casting decisions...

Here's the link... WHICH CELEBRITY SHOULD PLAY YOUR FAVOURITE SUPER-HERO CHARACTER!?

This msn article on Ang Lee's HULK has some ideas of its own:

quote:"We were looking for someone who is a great dramatic actor, and after seeing Chopper and a bit of Black Hawk Down, it was clear that Eric had a very strong screen presence," Arad tells the Hollywood Reporter. "He also has these soulful eyes and an intelligence to him--and Banner happens to be a very intelligent and soulful guy. We needed a lead that can carry a myriad of emotions, and Eric is a talented individual with that right combination."

Bana has become so in-demand, that he was actually be considered for two superhero roles. At the same time Bana was being considered by Lee to play the Hulk, he was also in talks with Arad to essay the lead in another Marvel adaptation, Ghost Rider. That part ultimately went to Nicolas Cage.

The CG-heavy film, which starts shooting next spring, is expected to join 20th Century Fox's X-Men sequel as one of the studio's blockbuster entries in summer 2003. It's among several classic Marvel properties in development. In addition to Spider-Man and the X-Men sequel, Daredevil (with Ben Affleck in talks to star), The Fantastic Four and Iron Man have also been green-lighted.

Ben Affleck as Daredevil? mmm... I think that would actually work.

I think 'Daredevil' would only work with David Fincher directing and Brad Pitt starring.

Oh... c'mon.

Eric Stoltz was born to play Matt Murdock.... he's got both the Red hair & Glassy eyes, and he can act!

Eric Stoltz is THE FLASH dude!

Oh, and who's gonna be in X-men 2? Any news yet on possible plot and new characters?

The Beast is going to be in it, according to Wizard magazine. I think they were considering Nightcrawler too. Magneto was going to be in it, and the Sentinels...

when actually did nic cage decide to go for all the super hero roles.
First there were the stories of him donning the red and blue for the new superman movie. Then I saw a story that he was going to be tony stark in an iron man movie. My memory is telling my he was linked to the spiderman movie at one point as well (but my memory can be wrong) and now this.

He's a huge comics fan, Nic Cage. Took his stage name from Luke Cage, Hero For Hire. He's been desperate for years to play a superhero, preferably a Marvel superhero, but now that he's got the clout to "open" a movie, I'm afraid he's well past his sell-by date for any of the roles...

by god, Grant, I'm with you about Cary Elwes. He is possibly the most dashing, charming, handsome man alive, and would be the perfect Green Arrow. If ever there was an actor that has not gotten his due, it's him.
