Picked this up at the weekend and was pleasantly suprised. What a brillant bit of art, some of the sequences in the last two issues (the magic and the tarot ones) were stunning. Reminded me vaguely of the inside of Kind Mob's head or the outer church sequence just for the sheer ammount of 'stuff' packed onto a page.
Has anyone put together some annotations for this as I'm sure there is a lot of stuff that I'm not picking up on. I loved the small crowley thread that runs through the tarot issue, birth through to death.
I had heard from some people it goes a bit off the rails after the tarot issue. I hope not, I'd love to find out what's going on with dollface and Kenneth from the '5 swell guys'. |
