I always thought the target thing was an implication that King Mob was going to die. And theres the time when Jack is doing the washing up and is wearing a target shirt with an orange outer circle. I thought that by the end there would be a T-Shirt with a red outer circle and King Mob would be dead. Maybe Grant originally planned to kill him and changed his mind since he decided that Kings Mob fate is closely linked to his own. Who knows?

As far as I can see, Jack, Chubby and Monica are all equally correct in their interpretations. My take on the RAF symbol was always an amalgamation of all three.
