Trust me, I've been living off comic books and house-hold planets for the last sixth months.

Actually, I worked out the other day that I spend about a sixth of my income on comics. Time to cut down, maybe. Hell, I gave up smoking, I can give up most of the comics I buy.

Either that, or time to finally start getting stuff published. Then, according to my comics dealer ("First one's free...") I can claim VAT back. Woo hoo! Instant riches.

now, the first book is R$34, the second R$25, and the last 2 didnt even got released yet... I am so doomed. But the story is really good, thought-provoking and all... but the style of eddie campbell sucks...

I probably blow an average of $10 to 15 bucks a week on comics. Not more than $50 a month. Not much more than smokers spend on cigaretts these days. Stil to fucking much for someone as poor as me.

I've not picked my books up from the shop in weeks though. Been too busy and too poor. I'd better get a loan before I go into clear out my subscription box again.

Ack, you think that's bad? I was (up until a month or so ago) regularly blowing £20-30 a week on comics (thats $30-50, fact fans). Through sheer will-power and brutal cutting of standing orders I've got it down to about £8. The key is not to buy trades. Or Outlaw Nation.
