Oh, I like those pages far more than the other pictures they've released thus far. Now I'm pretty happy that he's going to be drawing so many issues..I still prefer Frank, but he's certainly an adequete substitute. I don't see how that looks remotely like any art Marvel's had in the past decade....what Marvel comic looked like that, save for the stuff George Perez has drawn? It reminds me of a cross between Mike Grell, Perez, and Phil Jiminez with a little dash of Brian Bolland.

I've looked at the pages three times and I cannmot for the life of me tell what's supposed to be happening.

Van Sciver may be (debatably) a fine illustrator, but he's no storyteller.

And Harry--you've done one of my pet peeves: it's Quitely, not "quietly." Frank Quitely/quite frankly, get it?

Pencillers should only go for that photo realist look if they can really pull it off; otherwise the images only serve to illustrate the artist's limits.

I think it's absolutely brilliant. Human. Not overcrowded with little buttons and lights and anime-like/jim lee-like square chins. It's gonna be in b/w, or someone will color it? It looks better in b/w, I think.
