Me? Thanks for asking. High on Morrissey and the amazing dancing of the women I was with, also the crowd: dozens of boys three inches taller and twenty percent gayer than they've come to terms with yet. Watching them try to grow into it via the joyously miserable yowlings of the quiffster. I don't know, there's just something about a room full of people grinning their heads off and leaping about while singing at the tops of their voices: "you go home and you cry and you want to die".

I should get out more, I do enjoy it when I bother.

Sounds like a club if you'd like to go
you could meet somebody who really loves you...

Ah, incomparable Marr guitar and those homorrissey boys, yum.

<gasp>

I remember the days when my abdomen was concave enough for irono-political sloganeering and my Morrissey-dancing gimped to perfection...

and I haven't even mentioned the women... beautiful teen girls all skinny and tuff beyond their years, including one wearing a t-shirt saying 'an interesting drug' in fridge magnet letters and with a bunch of - well, tulips, if I'm honest, in her trouser pocket. Mozza as femme boy is a role model for *everyone*! He is like the pick'n'mix of gender!

(I did have to have the obligatory "but he's a member of the BNP" row with my friend the next day though.)

You can do what you like with it, Sax: Gauda Prime is an Open Planet.

And the next one is 18th May! Moz in the summertime! Are you coming?

Still high on the Laptop gig last night at the Barfly - lovely lovely Jesse Hartmann turning up with an acoustic guitar and introducing himself with "For those who came to see a 'synth-pop hero', I'm afraid you're screwed".

And high on a lovely lovely boygirl thing at the gig, who was pretty and great and part of the cutest indie couple ever.

And slightly high on righteous indignation, having actually had to say to someone "be quiet, Tiny Man, acoustic music is happening". Grrrrr....
