I know that there is a scene in Doom Patrol #54 that alludes to Barbelith. There is also scenes in Flex Mentallo where "Wally/Grant" is in the hospital and there are red and green stoplights. These Barbelith sitings appeared the comics after 1992.
The word BARBELiTH appears on a signpost in a story Grant did for the A1 anthology called, I think, "The House of Heart's Desire", dunno when that came out exactly but it must have been like ages ago.
I don't remember "Barbelith" on the wall, but "King Mob" is graffiti on a toilet wall in the last issue of KE. Sean Phillips drew it in after he got the covers gig for the Invisibles.
I only got to read one issue of Crisis that had that story in it...Crisis was hard to get ahold of here in the states, and it wasn't exactly advertised.
I would love it if some company woudl take it upon itself to reprint the stories in that comic that I keep hearing about.
Ha. Crisis 49 is the only part of the story that I've read, as well as own. I've got an old scanner lying about. Maybe I'll hook it up tommorrow and see what I can do.
