Mmmm... birds singing, cherry blossom falling, tanned people in strategically placed scraps of cloth walking the streets, thick smog covering all...
...and loads and loads of 'jam' type issues in the comics shops.
What do y'all think of these? I just picked up the Oni summer special (in which the Powers guys meet Kabuki and congratulate her on spending five entire issues sitting in a pool of her own menstrual blood - fuckin hilarious) and the new 100 Bullets (in which half the pages are pin-ups by various artists, a few of which are inspired and most of which are dire).
On balance I generally like these, but wish that they wouldn't put in all the filler from mediocre artists... |
