Did anyone like the new Hawkman intro?

Well, the last of the 3-part re-introduction of the Hawkman character in JSA came out last week.

Did anyone here read it and if so, what did you think?

I personally was majorly unimpressed but then I always liked Katar more than Carter.

I liked it. I've really been enjoying JSA - it's like a proper flashback to the super-hero comics that I enjoyed as a teenager.

You read golden age superhero comics as a kid?

I do like JSA. I was a big All Star Squadron and Roy Thomas fan and for the most part I've been really pleased by the new series.

It just seems that Goyer and John have been relying on resurrecting and/or reincarnating original JSA members a bit too much.

I am looking forward to the new Hawkman series that (if I remember correctly) James Robinson is supposed to be co-writing.

Ok... big fanboy moment: Who else wants a Hawkman mask?

um . . . it was OK.

I kinda like how reincarnation has become more & more of a theme.

the art's pretty good . . . but the series doesn't "totally" rock me . . .

but as Robinson's writing the Hawkman series, & he did just finish Starman . . I just may pick it up and check it out. I thought I read that Goyer was gonna write it?

it's a cool mask never bothered with it. My Pops made me a perfect BATMAN (60's TV series version) cowl & cape when I was like 5 years old. He was a tailor of course . . .
