Sadly, I know a number of people who've had to order it directly. But Diamond's not a monopoly, oh no... feh.

Luckily, Spookshow is indeed worth the hassle involved in getting a copy.

It appears that Diamond's apparent monopoly has more to do with reluctant or lazy retailers than anything else.

However! If you're having trouble getting a retailer to order it for you (they can get it either from Cold Cut Distribution or directly from my studio) then contact me via my website and you can order it direct.

I'm engaged in the second month of hassling my store guys to get the book.

Last Wednesday, they muttered something about "had to remember to fax in distributor number snargleblarglehassleblahdeblahde gotta remember..."

They'd never heard of Cold Cut, but now they've at least written down the name.

I WILL read it, and it WILL be bought properly, from the shop.

Diamond is a bitch to negotiate with, whereas Cold Cut was very accomodating. Don't worry, I'm trying to set something up with Diamond anyway.

I'm gonna have to order from your site Ray.

I've been trying for weeks now (ever since the Pop Image review) to get a copy but even though my retailer is good and has really tried to get it (he's always come through in the past) he just can't seem to get a copy.

Oh well. That's why we have the internet.
