| In my last year of high school, I took advanced placement english because a previous student had come by and spoke about the pros and cons of taking the class. Anyway, he was telling us about some of the stories they had read and in one of them a woman is beaten to death with her own prosthetic leg. I thought it sounded like a unique story, but the name was never mentioned. Has anyone here read any short stories where women have been bludgeoned to death with their own legs? I just finished reading Good Country People by Flannery O'Connor and while its an interesting story, the prosthetic leg is simply stolen, not used as a club. Was I being lied to? |
