I believe there are some connections between Islam and magic way back, but it's not very current. Islam appears to have gone the route of Christianity, considering magic to be satanic.
I read something once about Egyptian occultism and magic practiced by Muslims. I think it was by Gareth Knight, but my google-fu is failing me. Maybe you'll have more luck. |
