The bear posting a topic on the books forum, wonders will never.. anyway

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on NLP books, I had a look on Amazon and the books only have one review which I get suspicious about (I always think it's the author)...

Anyway if anyone has read any and can provide me with a name I will be ever so grateful and you will have a special place in my heart (how's that for sucking up ! )

Donald Lofland's Thought Viruses is a pretty good from what I've read so far. As for the authors only having one review on Amazon; sometimes Amazon isn't the best place to get reviews.

Sounds good to me, yeah I know what you mean about Amazon its just that there were so many books and none of them had more than one review.....do you know where you can get the book from?

Finding the book online seems to be a bit difficult, on Amazon's UK site it seems to be a special order, and on the american site there is a used edition being sold. I found my particular copy in the bargain bin at Hastings.

I picked up Introducing Neuro-Linguistic Programming by Joseph O'Connor (sp?) from my local library for 20p (!) and can thoroughly recommend it as a decent guide to practical basics. I did a sales course (for work, obviously) that was primarily founded on NLP and the course Coach <shudder> appears to have used it as his personal Koran.

If that is any kind of recommendation...
