| Read the application guidelines and put enough in your app so the people processing the apps can reasonably gauge whether you are likely to be a troll or not, and you will most likely get a login. But write a couple of flippant lines that don't really give us anything to go on, and it will probably get ignored. The point of the apps process is to try and create a high signal-to-noise ratio, so moderators are just looking for applications that show that the person gets that and are likely to contribute well to the board. That's it really. An app should just give a sense of what you're going to be like as a contributor. |
