Dear Barbeloids,
I'm seeking the names of two studies into the efficacy of clinical psychology.
1) was undertaken by Eysenck. It appeared to demonstrate that the same proportion of people who are cured by psychotherapy get better on their own given long enough.
2) Was a study that appeared to show untrained people were as good as trained psychotherapists in providing counselling, provided they were of empathetic character.
Can anyone provide me the name of either study 1 or study 2? |
