I asked my mom to not tell my dad to shut-up, you know, just for Christmas, and then she told me to shut-up. Then I told my mom not to talk that way to me that way and a whole nasty, twisted argument ensued after. It was really bad...and I have been blamed for it.

I'm just glad it's over with for another year - less for the usual "bah humbug" bullshit that people accuse you of when you say you don't like Christmas, and more for historic reasons of toxic family trauma that far exceed "humbug."

I got a gift too yesterday and unexpectedly, bedclothes. Hm, why not?!

My favourite of this year's christmas activities was visiting all the christmas markets in Dresden and Berlin. The best treat was horse sausage. I hadn't known it could be so tasty. Minutes later I almost got run over by a horse. I wonder if he recognized the smell on my breath. Elk wasn't so tasty in comparison but still good. Will probably go to another market later, look at some reindeer!
