I've got into trouble with these threads before, (Fred Dibnah and Ronnie Barker, who I said some terrible things about) so I'll restrict my comments to saying that yes, it's very sad, but that it happens to everyone. And that JG Ballard would be the last to encourage any mawkish sentiment, at the end of what was a full, rich and often brilliant literary career. |
