Six Inch Killaz: Shoot to Kill

Y'all might enjoy the story of my old band Six Inch Killaz, described as a "punk drag wall of noise", or "five trannies on the verge of musical chaos" which I've begun to serialise on my weblog.

We tore up certain shadier parts of London in the micro-twilight of the Cool Britannia, Britpop and Spice Girls infested late 1990s, terrifying right minded people everywhere with our brand of almost unlistenable transgendered punk rock, being picked up by dimly lit corners of the mass media, and eventually disintegrating soon after piquing the interests of the likes of Creation Records and becoming part of the Kitsch Bitch scene, the only musical scene worth its salt back then.

I'd be particularly interested if any 'lithers have recollections of seeing us perform. Mainly because I have very few recollections myself. Booze and other intoxicating substances have seen to that...

I enjoyed reading that. You should keep going.

I fear you're quite right about the singers though. The music seems to have had a certain, deranged power to it, but as far as the vocals go, you can only confront society's prejudices up to a point, I guess.
