As much as this might have been the year that the long-rumored barbe-death finally kicked in, I have found that the chocomel thread has made it all worthwhile by (a.) inspiring me to buy some yoohoo (I'd forgotten how good water and milk whey and artificial flavors can taste in unison) and (b.) introducing me to the Polysics (I've listened to nothing else for over three days).
Dazzler, just you be glad you don't have to hold conversations with me on a day to day basis. Seriously. Ask Proinsias. My ex-flatmate used to call them Take That for this very reason.

I've actually downloaded a huge collection off the intarwebz, and am now trying to figure out where to start with an actual purchase. I'm thinking of Neu, seeing as it's currently getting the most play.
Though atm I fear I may have killed it, the Chocomel thread was a stormer. Possibly the rumours of Barbelith's death have been, as they say, greatly exaggerated. You never know...
