Wow. the way the entire world is reacting you'd think it was the Messiah...or something.
I think, after several years of almost constant fear-mongering and hate-speech, a world-wide joygasmic reaction is probably healthy and speaks volumes about general apathy being maybe not as widespread and destructive as it may seem to be. It might seem like a zealous and overstated reaction on everybody's part, but there's a lot of emotion being built up and clogging the zeitgeist.
It's also really nice to see after the Canadian election, where thirty million dollars was spent to give us the exact same minority government we had before it because our Left is split up. |
