I've found, as a buyer and a seller, that runs are the most appealing way to auction them off. Even if the runs aren't complete. Like if you say Wolverine 1-50 (42 issues) and then list the individual issues within the description, that's much more appealing than saying 140 Marvel Comics and then listing the issues.
Also, you will probably make way less than the comics are "worth" (which calls into value the notion of worth) by selling them in bigger lots, but selling individual issues or ever small runs is a pain in the ass.
You might want to get a quote from a local comic shop. They will probably give you 10%-20% of Overstreet value if you have anything decent, but that's about it. Might save you a lot of time and energy vs. selling on ebay, though. |
