Ooh, thanks for the name, I should check him out.
I couldn't really nail down what appeals to me about the genre, except that I love the sound, and the straight-forward appeal of it. I'm not trying to knock things like prog, because I enjoy that too, but a lot of rockabilly and its derivatives seem like a very straight shot, have fun kinda thing, y'know what I mean?
