I subscribe to the Universe Today RSS feed. I find it provides brief news regarding space but to a good standard. I also get the Mars Lander and NASA news on my Twitter account was wondering if anyone recommended any news feeds for other (or the same) scientific areas?

May I suggest Discovery Channel's RSS? I'm a big fan of the site and shows like "Daily Planet" (Here in Canada) even if sometimes they have a consumerist bias...

Funny thing, but no, I don't.

(It's funny because this is my site, and it kind of *is* a science news feed.)

I get an awful lot of stuff simply by refreshing reddit (especially the science sub-reddits) through the day. And I get New Scientist's email newsletter... and I'm on Twine, which is something *like* a feed... and something like deli.cio.us and something like reddit.

It will be absolutely uninteresting to everyone on this board, but I have the Epistasis Blog RSS on my bookmark bar. It's an area that I'm working on, but from a completely different angle. I don't understand 1/3rd of the computer science in it is completely beyond me...

My approach is more maths-y, which I think means that I am trying to mathematically model, while the computational genetics people go for machine learning, neural networks, and other Black Box type techniques. Neither approach seems to be working satisfactorily to me.

New Scientist (which I picked up today, enticed by news of the large hadron collider) is now £3.15 a pop! Email newsletter time methinks.
