Try picking up a book called 'London Under London (a subterranean guide)' by Richard Trench and Ellis Hillman ...published by John Murray
Great book...Got stuff on the Underground, Lost Stations, Hidden Rivers, London Underground during the WW2 etc
Lots of Maps, Illustrations, and Photos of packs of Wild Servicemen riding bikes through huge waterpipes....
There's also a book called Secret London which is meant to be pretty good |
