Quite a number of barbelith members must go to see exhibitions with reasonable regularity but rarely leave reviews or recommendations here. This is a thread in which you can leave vague thoughts and reviews with very little body. If you like it leave us the name and location of the exhibition.
I recommend that you go and see The House of Viktor and Rolf at the Barbican in London. It is showing until the 21st September 2008 and is delightful. Every costume exhibited is shown in full size and miniature and the exhibition includes Russian Doll, one of their more experimental pieces.
I also intend to see the Rothko exhibition at the Tate Modern which runs from the 26th September to the 1st February 2009. Judging by their treatment of his work in their permanent collection this is going to be totally cracking. |
