I feel like I've known all of you my whole life.

Have I by chance met you all in a previous life? It's like I've been looking for this forum since I can remember. Reading your posts makes me feel like I'm amongst brothers who I can speak my beliefs and feelings to and it will surely glide in most of the way like I've got the pieces to this mass manufactured puzzle. It's a strange feeling I thought i'd share with every one.

In our previous incarnations, you borrowed about thirty bucks from me. Also, you never returned my Guns Live. You can get me back sometime next week.

No sir, YOU are the caretaker. You've always been the caretaker. I ought to know: I've always been here.

I've been in touch with Granny. She's resting, for once, at the Midnight Home for the Criminally Infirm and shan't be back any time soon. A chalk mark for certain particular busters, I'm sure.

I read the title and the thread abstract and I was about to go, "Yes! Someone else is creepy like me and has read this board so much that they feel almost like they know a bunch of the posters here, despite not having posted enough to even register as a person in their minds . . ."

Except that wasn't what it was, so I guess it's still just me who feels like I "know" (in a weird stalkerish kind of way) people who don't even know I exist.

So, um. Hi. I probably still won't start posting or anything. It's a nice board, though. Makes for good reading. Although it's slowed down a lot lately, hasn't it? Enough that even the most self-conscious of stalker-lurkers are coming out of the woodwork, apparently.

You might know me from my TV show, Dharma and Greg, or my criminally underrated film with Ben Stiller and Edward Norton, Keeping the Faith.

God, that movie's a total guilty pleasure of mine, but please don't tell anyone. I've seen it like, five times, on accident. You were radient, by the by. Lovely smile.

When I found out what Mrs. Elfman was, it nearly broke my heart. I rent my mantle and cried to the heavens in vain.

Reading your posts makes me feel like I'm amongst brothers

Do help yourself to a cigar, sir. You've finally gotten up the gumption to make your mark on the assembled fellows, and you ought to be congratulated.

It's a good thing you feel like you're amongst brothers, of course. Because we don't permit ladies here. They distract us with their scent, or should I say, their glow. (With the exception, of course, of Miss Elfman, who is allowed in between two and four on a Thursday to do the vacuuming. These are hard times for actresses, you know.)

Now that you're installed, how about a jolly rogering in the showers, what?

If only I'd known Scientology could make me feel slightly better whenever I get up late, I'd have converted years ago. You spend your whole life looking, and sometimes these things are right under your nose.

You'd think so, but no. Scientology is responsible for actual harm in many people's lives.

if you were capable of objective research you'd quickly learn that, in fact, being possessed by the ghosts of aliens is responsible for the actual harm in many people's lives.

really? i know some people say that but don't people say that about the catholic church and islamism as well? personally i think this planet is big enough for all of us to live together believing what we want and worshipping our own gods (or not! )....

Absolutely! It's great to see that there are some people around here who are prepared to keep an open mind. Dianetics helped me a lot during my time on Dharma and Greg. In fact, that line in Keeping the Faith where Brian George tells Edward Norton that he's reading dianetics, and Edward Norton says he's not surprised? I wrote that. I wrote a much longer scene, in fact, but, you know, cut for length.

They're right about Catholics and Islamists, though, wildstallion. You should look at a more forward-thinking religion

You know who doesn't think that? Scientologists.

Jenna Elfman in particular. I will never forgive you for betraying me, Mrs. Elfman. I got over Jason Lee, but I'll never get over you. *sobs*
