Do you mean the guy, or the thing he's holding?

Yes, what ARE you holding Stoatie?

*sniff*

"The guy", I would have you know, is a very well-respected internet personality.

Actually, that's a lie. He's me.

But it's FUCKING BATTLETOADS. BATTLETOADS. It revolutionised the sideways-scrolling combat amphibian genre! HAVE SOME RESPECT!

Actually, come to think of it, there are probably only about three people on this board who will get the joke. And one of them's me.

Tough crowd, tough crowd.

Actually, the best way to make things better would be for you all to call your local video game shop. Gamestop in the US, Game in the UK. Not sure about other countries, but I'm sure you know who they are. And ask them if they are taking pre-orders for Battletoads.

They may play hard to get, so if you have no joy first time round, just keep trying. There are prizes.

It´s a video game, where you have to be at least 34 years old to play it?

Also keep an eye out for Miner Willy Meets the Taxman. Most places have the release as TBC, but I suspect that we might get a firm date now that E3's upon us again.

Dear god, battletoads? It's been some time since I last thought of that game. Truly an amazing NES game, took many months of my young life, and months well spent were them. Not many games can truly take such big advantage of a 16-bit system, a true example to be followed by games nowadays.
By the way, did anyone here finish Battletoads? My NES broke down before I could complete it, so I don't even know if it ends. Congratulations on your finding anyways.

Randy- I'm actually holding my breath for the Miner Willy/Duke Nukem TEAMUP versus BATTLETOADS.

It'll be VERY.

(And apparently mudkips will be unlockable).

if you'd like one of your own...

i would imagine these will be selling out quickly.

also, if mods want to combine this link into my first post, feel free. with the recent acceleration in board-death, i really don't give a fuck about going through a proper 'edit' process.

You see? The capital A makes an ascending triangle, the sign of fire, a masculine sign, linked with the series of Os, the feminine circle. It's a code! Do you see? A sexual code!

Aces on the score, Stoatie. I remember the name, not the game... Pitfall crossed with TMNT?

Many wonderfully geeky flowcharts.... about geekiness itself. The first one on this page is from the NYTimes, that geekiest source of geekery.

Go directly to GEEK, do not pass go, do not collect 200 GHz.
