Behold a Pale Horse

Tuna Ghost: Pratt knot hero

...by William Cooper. Anyone else read this? It's basically a book describing various conspiracies, only it's written by an ex-naval intelligence officer. In the book he describes numerous attempts on his life for telling people the secrets he has from his military days.

The thing is, a good half of the supposed conspiracies the author goes on about depend on the actual existence of the Illuminati. Apparently they are actively trying to turn America into a police state and will succeed unless we do something to stop them.

Some of the conspiracies written about in the book:

The CIA did in fact kill JFK. He doesn't say why though.

Numerous alien crafts have landed/crashed on Earth, and the government knows this. They have been in contact with an alien race since the fifties, a race who at the request of the American government will keep thier existence unknown to the public. We have been experimenting with their technology for quite some time. The author says that while he was on a nuclear sub he and three other people saw a UFO flying around. When an intelligence officer questioned him, he made it rather clear that Cooper saw nothing and that if he did, baaaaad things would happen.

Various Fraternal groups like the Freemasons and the Skulls have members at all levels of the government. These groups are all just part of the Illuminati, of course. Some members know this, some don't.

The Vatican is up to some wierd shit. Can't remember what at the moment, but things not normally associated with The Church in most people's minds.

All in all, it's an interesting read. One thing I'd like to know more of is his sources. He has stuff to back up roughly half of his book, which is pretty good considering the topic, but he throws in facts without saying where he got them. Maybe they're documents that are now top secret, but I don't see why he couldn't say so. The guy who gave me this book said that he was now on the FBI watch list for owning it, and warned me not to be caught on tape in possesion of it. He's often full of shit, though.

Give it a read. Fun facts all through it.

Johhny O Clock wondered: Anyone else read this?

I know a lot of the stuff Laila links to is, in turn, linked to this guy.

Personally, I've never read his book - it's kind of hold to stumble across here in the UK and I'm not going to go out searching for it - but if I get a copy easily, I probably will read it.

It sounds a little David Icke to me from what I've seen on the net tho...

[slightly off topic]

Hasn't he been accused of anti-semitism at some point in the past?

Ah right, here we go.

Lovely article linking Cooper, among others, to that wonderful work, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Google links - take care, some of these will probably include right wing idiots.

Me again. Sorry.

Just felt bad that I was saying Laila (and Chrome, to be fair) link to is linked to this guy, without giving proof.

A lot of what they link to is on Ken Adachi's website.

Adachi himself says: ) I initially learned of the New World Order agenda, the Government & Aliens, MJ Twelve, Detention & Relocation Centers, FEMA, and Alternatives 1,2, & 3, by reading Behold a Pale Horse (1991), written by ex-Naval Intelligence officer, William Cooper

Check the original source for that quote out here

Skeptic's Dictionary article on the 'Illuminati rule the World!' players, including Adachi, Icke... and Cooper

And Cooper also has his own website, at williamcooper.net though it doesn't seem to be loading at the mopment.

one of the African leaders takes this book seriously enough that he rebuffed offers of help from WHO in saying they wanted to help combat AIDS. I can't remember who and search engine look-ups turned up generic sorts of information.

South Africa's Thabo Mbeki is very vocal about this, but I think it's his health minister, Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, who you might be thinking of.
