I made a website for my music

Uhm. Ahm. This is just an attempt at a moderate plug. It used to be that I had a band, and even though we had a lot of songs, we never managed to get them recorded. Over the last years I managed to record and corral some of those songs into Myspace. This will be the biggest exposure they'll ever likely see (There's also a separate, "official" website, with some videos and mp3s for download).

The more observant amongst you will notice one unifying characteristic linking these songs: they were recorded in a very, very (very) crude way (and the English pronunciation in some of the oldest ones is a bit spotty). A richness of embarrassments, but also a source of amenable satisfaction to me, to have them done at last, even in this haphazard, scatterbrained, subterranean-fi way.

So that's it, hope you like what you hear, thanks.

There are disappointingly few photos on the MySpace.

Yeah, I didn't much see the point in having many pictures given that I won't be promoting the page or anything. It's really just a little repository - memorial, if you wish - for the songs and all that period of my life.

Well, I like 'em.

You sound like the Neutral Milk Hotel guy.

grant, you're there too! And you perform, too (at least I take it you're still doing it, from the pics), that's lovely. I like "Southampton Clock Tower" and "Emily Minor", but especially "Emily Minor" (Also, I gotta check this Neutral Milk Hotel guy; it's not the first time the comparison has been made).

You're very kind.

Your videos stopped working for me before I was done - I think YouTube was shuddering under some vast, awful weight. I'll have to go back there.

But yes, Neutral Milk Hotel. Look for the song "King of Carrot Flowers (pt I)."

Well I heard the thing on youtube and yeah, same spirit I guess - now if only I had had access to those nifty production values... *sigh*
