According to someone on DS, Anthony Horowitz was on telly talking about him and said Samantha had been asked to write some words by the funeral, so, of course, the vicar asked her to get her head down and give him the full service.

I really hope there are smutty jokes in his eulogy.

And Thatcher's still alive. Death is fail.

I think, when Thatcher dies, a rift will open in space and time - so much evil passing into the netherworld will allow some good people to come back.

I've just spent the last half-hour on YouTube, it's a mix of great jazz and ISIHAC, as it should be... His memoir is a nice little book too, my favourite bit is when he talks about going on stage with his band and Radiohead to do 'Life in a Glasshouse', until that second he'd never realised exactly how popular Radiohead were, and had certainly never played to an audience anywhere near as big before... He will be greatly missed.

And we've been inundated with a postcard, from a Mrs Trellis of South Wales. It says "RIP Mr Norden. All the best".

Damn it, I was trying to work out something like that and you beat me to it. You get points for that. And points mean prizes. What do points mean?

Auntie is rebroadcasting an old episode (inclusing Willie Rushton) on Radio 4 at midday as a tribute.
