Overground - music in Stoke Newington

This could have gone in the self-promotion/Creation threads, or at a pinch in the Stoke Newington one, or while technically not a gathering, in the Morning Bride and/or Drones Club threads.

But it hasn't gone in any of them, because it's a radio show about music in Stoke Newington, north London, featuring interviews and music from several Barbelith-related folks (and missing out a few others).

It actually went out last Thursday 13 March on ResonanceFM in London, but given that I was so busy editing the programme up to the very last possible minute, I didn't post here about the broadcast beforehand.

However, thanks to the lovely space which is Archive.org, you can still tune in, either as a download or a streamed mp3, here, and hear what the good musical folk of London North Sixteen think - for better or worse - about the music scene in and around their home, adopted or otherwise.

I'm half way through listening to this right now. I'm shocked at myself for having lived in London for years without appreciating how diverse the music scene is in Stoke Newington. Yeah, I've been hanging out at Barden's Boudoir now and then in the last year but this show has really opened my eyes and ears. I'll have to stretch my legs to get there from Bethnal Green but it must be done!

Thanks for posting this
