So what do you all think of it? I'm really pleased that they've managed to reconcile the beautiful keyboard melodies and ambient tendencies of their early work with the sound design and hyper-real programming of their later material; the samples are killer (love that "how yall feelin" bit towards the end of The Plc), the beats are fat, and overall I think it's the best work they've done in years.
Can't wait for their live radio show on the 23rd! Anybody else seeing them on their upcoming tour? I've got my tickets to see them at The Echoplex in Los Angeles. |
