Over in the Black Dossier thread, somebody mentioned a new Sgt. Rock title coming out next week.

I had no idea he was still current.

The new book is one of those massive black-and-white reprint compendiums. It will surely be good, though.

The most recent Sgt. Rock project was written and drawn by Rock's co-creator, Joe Kubert, who continues to make great comics as an octogenarian.

there is a new Sgt. Rock mini to be written and drawn by Billy Tucci. Yes, that Billy Tucci. However, I will say that the art in preview/interviews that was shown a while ago looks pretty decent - not at all the style you'd expect from Mr. 'Shi'. Much more realistic, better, in general...
