This is the best thing ever and totally deserves its own thread, even though there's not much I can say about it other than that it's the best thing ever.
This may have just saved me a prison sentence for aggravated something or other. Bitter bitterness fading... fading... now if only there were more of these. With poets I like better.
I memorized "The Burial of the Dead" when I was a young gothling-to-be, by listening to an Eliot reading over and over. I can still recall the whole thing, but only if I speak in a bad approximation of a bad approximation of an English accent as performed by a somber Missourian poet. This is an excellent antidote.
