Did anyone catch this documentary shown on BBC 2 on Sunday? A kind of Spelling Bee with numbers.
It was not only compelling and beautifully presented, with the characters of the story - a group of young mathematicians all hoping to represent GB at the IMO - driving the narrative along, but also contained some amazing shots - in particular a shot of the contest itself and the tics and fidgets of the competitors. |
