Hello,
I am looking for help with a project I've been working on for a while now. I am illustrating a book about the relationship between the ancient art of alchemy and it's relationship to modern alchemy with a series of photographs. The photographs are to contain detailed close ups of the metals associated with the 7 planets of antiquity, these being our Sun, Mercury, Venus, our Moon, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. I want to title these photographs using extracts of poetry pertaining to the respective planet the metal represents.
If anyone could help me by pointing me towards any resource I would be extremely grateful. I have already seen Diane Ackerman's, CS Lewis' and Dava Sobel's works (all entitled 'The Planets'), and have hit a dead end that I am sure does not exist. Any and all input will be gladly received. :-) |
